PARIS

I had a brief vision of the hand of Jesus extended to me.  “My daughter, come with me,” He said.  I said, “Where, Lord?”  He said, “To the top of the Eiffel Tower.  I will show you something that is inconceivable to the mind of man.  See below you: the glitter, the gold, the glamour, the show, the sensuality, the perversion, the height of man’s pride.  People go to Paris to see the world at its best.  But the world’s best is what I loathe the most.  You pride yourselves in glamour and glory; I despise your glory.  I exalt the humble and bring down the proud.  I will destroy your glamour, your glory, your pride, your strength, your attitude of self-reliance.  I will exalt the weak, the poor, the destitute, the despised, those who are of no value in the eyes of this world, that I might rejoice in the glory of those I have chosen, and that I alone—and no other—may receive all the praise.  Who is like unto me—the I AM, who was, and is, and is to come?  Who exalts kings and destroys them?  Who raises up kingdoms and brings them to nothing?  Is it not I, the LORD?  I am the high and holy one who sits above the circle of the earth.  The stench of your pride and arrogance has reached me so that I would vomit.  You have thrown off the laws of My glory and grace.  You have despised those rules and regulations that I set upon My creation to give unto you a crown of beauty, a reflection of My glory; yet you thought yourself wiser, more understanding, having greater grace in your own eyes than what I ordained.  How long have I put up with you, how long have I longed for you, sought you, wept for you, and pled with you through My servants the prophets?  Did not My very own begotten Son die for you?  Does He not live to plead for you?  Yet you despise the only prophet and priest and king who advocates for your eternal joy.  You think that your own way and your own glamour will attain for you the glory that reaches the heavens.  Do you think yourselves greater than ME, the great I AM—who was, and is, and is to come, who knows all things, sees all things, ordains all things?  Do you think you know better than I, your Creator?  Can you discern better than I, your Creator, what is best for you—when I ordained the best for you?  Oh Paris, and every city in the world that clamors after your goods, I will no longer stand for your parties—your exaltation in that which is filthy—an abomination in My sight.  Your time is over.  You will be swept away and fall into the heart of the sea, like many of your neighbors whose hearts neigh after another’s wife and whose possessions are solely earthly.  You have not considered that these things are like grass, which today springs up and tomorrow withers.  You fools!  Today is your life required of you, and you will come before My judgment seat to give account for all that you have done.  You have despised My laws and trampled My Son underfoot.  How fearful it is to fall into the hands of the Living God!  Repent, My people of My creation, for your time is up!  Repent, weep, and wale.  Turn from your abominations and pour out your hearts in remorse.  Call upon the name of Yeshua Hamashiach (Jesus Christ), that He may wipe away your sins and cleanse your abominations.  Wait not a moment longer!  The next may be too late!”

Joel 2:12-14: “Yet even now,” declares the LORD,
“return to me with all your heart,
with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning;
and rend your hearts and not your garments.”
Return to the LORD your God,
for he is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love;
and he relents over disaster.
Who knows whether he will not turn and relent,
and leave a blessing behind him,
a grain offering and a drink offering
for the LORD your God?

*Note: I’ve never been to Paris, and I had not been thinking about Paris or France in any way, so it startled me when the Lord called me to write on this.  Pray for Paris, people of God, and all the surrounding nations!
